The Literary Pub Crawl takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes across four historic pubs in the centre of Dublin. We always include a private visit to Trinity College front square (included in the price).

The tour is led by actors who tell the story of the pub, the poet & the pint. Walking distance: approx 1km (half mile).

We run the tour privately for your group or team from work. It’s perfect for you just before dinner or after a long session of meetings during the day. Unwind and listen to the actors tell you the story of Dublin’s great writers. Don’t worry! You don’t have to know anything about Irish writers. We’ll explain it all to you along the way. The tour ends with the fun filled Literary Pub Crawl Quiz. Prizes for the winners.

Join an actor to hear about the lives and works of the city’s most famous authors. We tell the story of Irish writers and entertain you with selections from their works. The tour is packed with humour, anecdote and information about Joyce, Beckett, Shaw, Yeats, Heaney, Wilde, but not forgetting the ‘moderns’ like Paula Meehan, Eavan Boland and Brendan Kennelly.

The guide/actor will explain the contours and contradictions of Dublin’s history from the writer’s viewpoint.
