There’s a taxi rank just down the street from where we end the tour (about 9.50pm). Buses, DART and LUAS trams stations are all nearby.
No. We will explain it all to you by quoting from the works of Dublin’s famous writers. They do the talking on this tour. We also give some background to the authors we feature – so no jumping in at the deep end. We also tell you about the great pubs in the city, how the the culture got started and how important it was for the trade of writing.

Food is available at the Duke Pub, (9 Duke street) before we start. You won’t have time to eat a full meal during the tour, but we recommend places to eat when the tour finishes about 9.50pm.
The student price is only available on our website or at the door on the night. So stay on this site and book it.
We visit four pubs each night (and a special entrance into Trinity evening time). Tour duration : 2hrs 20mins approx.
We end the tour at Davy Byrne’s pub – close to the starting point on Duke street.
